Visitors are immersed in a luminous landscape, a coccon-like bird’s nest set around a virtual hearth.
Modern building materials are reconceived: 52 students of the academy of fine arts of Munich have knotted, plaited, and lashed together this spatial installation with their own hands in circa 16.870 hours from approximately 1.292.300 (!) cable ties.
Until june we can visit the exhibition at Aedes am Pfefferberg in Berlin. Last year the third space (der dritte raum) had a great success at a Designers’ Saturday in Langenthal (Switzerland), in Munich and Dresden.
The very beautiful pictures are by Oliver Sachs.
