Formed at the beginning of 2005 in Belgrade by Natasa Ilincic and Jugoslava Kljakic, od-do architects engages in cross-discipline design collaborations spanning across architecture, furniture, exhibit and interior design. Designs and objects are created for an “active mind, to suit the demanding complexity of modern living” – often simple, humorous objects that encourage user interaction just as they transcend their primary functions.
Between these projects, we flag lamps like Day Night, that materialise the possibility of using endless solar energy and forming an independent source of light. Minimalist design of the lamp, reduced to a symbol or a sign, emphasise its basic function.
Hanger lamp is a prototype exhibited at Salone Satellite 2008; it’s available in Victor Hunt gallery in Brussels. Here, it’s the personal inspiration to decide how manage the light.Posted on: Thursday, June 18th, 2009 at 10:07
